Weekly Journal 3

This week was honestly super stressful because I had to juggle studying for tests and finishing my project at the same time. Most nights I slept so late trying to finish everything that getting up for class felt like climbing Everest. Our class is on the 4th floor, and with the lifts always packed, I basically became a professional stair climber while fasting. Walking up all those stairs on an empty stomach made me question all my life choices.

One day, right when it was almost time to break fast, I went to the toilet and discovered my period had started. Perfect timing, as if the universe had decided to add an extra challenge. Despite the chaos, I had to stay focused and push through to finish my assignments and prepare for the tests. Even though it felt like everything was against me, I reminded myself that stress is temporary but determination lasts longer.

After the tests, my housemate and I decided some healing was necessary. We walked around Putrajaya until early morning, freezing and joking about everything that happened during the week. That night reminded me that even in the most stressful weeks, it’s important to take a moment to relax, laugh, and recharge. Those little moments made all the struggles feel more manageable and memorable.
